I tried to post from home - but our Internet connection is soooo slow.

I wrote something and wasn't able to post it - so I will need to try to post during my lunch or a break from work. Ugh.

It's only a matter of time before I call for DSL.

Wendy -- I know you are busy today :) Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you and your newly expanded family! Hope all is well. My thoughts are with you.

Peace is the word...it's the word that you heard....

So, my Christmas break was filled with changes. Nothing major. We decided to give the garage to the dog so that he would spare the carpet any more pain. Believe me, I would rather clean out a cement garage floor than try to clean up the carpet. We let him in when we are home, but if we are at work or sleeping - out he goes. (Note: I made him a little bed, so he is not sleeping on a concrete floor. How horrible do you think I am??)

I also had a really strange bonding experience with my son. His "bad behavior" stopped over the Christmas break and we spent a lot of anxiety-free time together. It was nice. I really looked forward to spending the days with him. He is a charmer. We had a great time together doing puzzles and playing "chalks."

Maybe we both made peace with our demons.

2006 is all about making peace. With the past and the present.
