What not to wear
Maybe this makes me a snob, but I never thought I would KNOW people like this.
A couple that my husband and I know just had their second child about a month and a half ago. The wife wanted to have a portrait made of the two kids – a nice idea. So, they buy the kids Ralph Lauren outfits from head to toe (you know, $28 onesies, etc.) for the picture EXCEPT they leave all the tags on because they are going to RETURN the clothes after the picture! Hello? I have always heard stories like that from friends that worked in retail, but I have never KNOWN anyone who did that.
People, if you can’t afford Ralph Lauren baby clothes (and why you would spend that kind of money on something they will outgrow in a week, I don’t know) then don’t buy them. And for God’s sake, don’t return them after your kids have been photographed in them! And, then you go around telling people about it? That is just plain tacky.
Am I out of line here?
